Product Overview
Vintage bronze tone cast metal figure made by Avard Fairbanks in 1963 for Balfour that depicts a horse and rider. The statue is mounted on a wood base with a brass plaque that reads "The Charger, 1963, R.M. Main."
This would have originally been presented to a Chevrolet car salesman as an award for sales. Good condition with no breaks or damage. The base shows some finish wear as pictured and there is some spotty finish wear to the bronze coating as pictured. The statue is a two piece design that is connected and the horse portion is a bit loose, which is normal and expected on these.
Has the Fairbanks signature on the back and the original Balfour label on the underside. For size reference, the base measures 9 inches long. Refer to the photos for a better idea of the style and condition, you will receive the exact award statue that is pictured.
