Vintage galvanized insulated milk bottle porch cooler box with advertising for Briggs Dairy in Elma, New York embossed on the front. Unsigned, maker unknown. Box has been repainted numerous times and has a great old shabby look to it with wear to the paint that makes the embossed advertising lettering stand out well. The rivet on the one side of the hinge is a bit loose, it and the lid stay in place, but if you yank on it, it will separate, but you can just put the hinge back on the rivet for display or use and it works fine....or you could just replace the rivet if it bothered you. This is the type of box people would leave on their porch for the milkman to fill with new bottles of milk. Measures about 10 1/2 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches wide. Very good condition with some surface rust on the bottom and some surface wear as pictured. Refer to the photos for a better idea of the style and condition, you will receive the exact cooler box that is pictured.
