Vintage early Mid-Century era clear store counter advertising display device that you crank by hand to turn rotors inside a clear plastic bubble with oil encased inside to show the viscosity of the oil. Mounted on a wood base. Works fine. Seems to be unsigned, maker unknown. The base has been repainted multiple times. We removed much of a top layer, hoping to find a cool original oil label underneath, but just revealed more paint. The device is in nice condition with no breaks or damage and no leaks. There is some light scuffing in spots to the plastic, but it's generally clear and the oil and rotors are easily visible. The bubble measures about 6 inches wide. This would be an even cooler display if you applied your favorite oil brand label or sticker to the base for display. Neat man cave or garage decorative conversation piece.
