Product Overview
When I first saw this from across the room, my immediate reaction was that someone ruined a couple classic rock album covers by sticking them inside this old red, white and blue roller skate box. Upon closer inspection, the album cover art is actually hand-painted, and quite well done. The lid of the box has Quiet Riot's Metal Health and the bottom has AC/DC For Those About to Rock. The paintings are on some type of board and appear to be glued into the top/bottom of the box. The artist is unknown. There is an old plastic label on the side that was made with one of those hand-held label makers that reads "John Malmrose." The case has a metal outer and corners and working latches and handle and was originally meant to carry roller skates. The box measures roughly 14 1/2 x 11 1/2 x 6 3/4 inches. The case has no major damage, but shows the usual dings and paint wear associated with a carrying case for skates as pictured. Refer to the photos for a better idea of the style and condition, you will receive the exact case with hand-painted album cover art as pictured.
