Vintage signed Bloomquist art pottery vase with brown glaze and a scene with trees that wraps around the hand thrown vase. Made by John Bloomquist of Kane, Pennsylvania. Bloomquist was a master potter who is known for his heavy applied slip type decorations like the ones on this vase that give it depth and a three dimensional look to the surface. Vase measures about 5 3/4 inches tall. Excellent condition with no damage and no mentionable surface wear.
