"Here's How Mixed Drinks" cocktail recipe book published in 1941 with a wood cover and spider-web velum frontispiece. Compiled and edited by W.C. Whitfield with whimsical illustrations by Tad Shell. Published by Three Mountaineers Inc. in Asheville, North Carolina. The book is in great condition. The finish on the wood covers shows some light age and surface wear, but the interior pages look like the book has never been used. The book was found in an estate without the binding cord (which originally was probably leather). We restrung the binding with some gold colored cord, but if you're a purist, you could restring it with some leather without much trouble.
