Vintage signed plaster horse head / bust sculpture by James Spratt from 1978, made by Austin Productions Inc. Dated, marked and signed on the back. The bust has been mounted to a wooden base and repainted in a white/cream color. The repaint has some wear and some spots of loss where the original dark bronzed paint is visible underneath. The white paint shows age and some yellowing in spots and gives the horse a nice carousel horse type look. The sculpture measures about 12 inches tall. It has no major damage, but there are a couple of small thin chips to the top of the mane as pictured. Great looking retro 1970's decorative piece to add to your room as is, or strip or repaint to desired look. Nice detailed piece.
