Product Overview
Antique milk glass novelty covered dish or lidded jar in the shape of a mortar and pestle. Marked J.V. Co. Inc. on the bottom. Maker's name and origin is unknown. J.V. Co. was a maker of medical and apothecary items, so this might have been an advertising piece. It has some hand-painted decorations on the lid and sides, most of which has worn off as pictured. Measures 3 1/8 inches wide. Excellent condition with no damage or mentionable wear to the glass.
