Product Overview
"Muddy Water: A Mississippi Moan" sheet music book, Broadway Edition. This book of sheet music for what appears to be the entire orchestra was found in the estate collection of a prominent African American educator who was compiling ephemera and memorabilia for a museum. The sheet music was found as pictured, shows age and wear and some splitting at the seams. It has individual sheets for different instruments and chairs in the band inside. Admitted, we did not count the pages or individual instruments' music that is included and have no idea whether it is complete....as we aren't knowledgeable about musicals and it's probably likely not something that we could research and be able to verify what a complete version would include, due to the rarity of the piece. The interior pages have some writing and notes on the pages. You can get an idea of how many instruments and sheets are included by viewing all the photos. The individual sheets inside are loose, so that they could be distributed to members of the band.
