Vintage estate found Chinese national flag, probably circa World War II era, cloth flag with sewn on White Sun. Maker and distributor stamps on end.
This flag was found in an estate. The flag is old and may have damage and/or wear. Our policy on flags is basically the same as our stance on Bibles and religious texts....we just sell them, in any condition that we find them in. If this offends you, simply do not buy them, or buy them and see that the flag's remaining days fit your views about how old flags should be kept/handled/stored/etc. All flags that we find, regardless of condition, were saved for decades and in some cases, someone's entire life. We feel they probably saved them for a reason, possibly sentimental, possibly historical. The person who saved the flag that is pictured was likely a veteran, and likely had a good reason for retaining the flag. We're just offering to pass the flag on to someone else who will use the flag going forward in their own way.
