Vintage navigational brief case type MB-1 leather bag made by the Merit Leather Strap Company. This briefcase style attaché has a divided interior, working latch (no key included for the lock), handle on top and two adjustable leather straps with brass buckles. The model information is stamped on the front. Leather is in good condition with no major damage. Shows some age and wear as pictured, but is pretty nice overall for a World War II era used brief case. Measures about 17 inches long.
