Antique souvenir letter opener from the 1901 Pan American Exposition that was held in Buffalo, New York. The letter opener appears to be made of bronze or some other copper based alloy and has a buffalo shaped finial at the end of the handle. The opener has a mottled dark old patina with some spotty verdigris on the buffalo. Measures about 5 3/8 inches long. Nice condition with no breaks or damage. Patinated as pictured.
