Product Overview
This is an old unused subway tile type ceramic or porcelain tile wall mount soap dish or soap bar holder. It has a ceramic bar that sticks out above the dish. This tile has a patent date of 1937 on the back, unsigned, made in U.S.A., maker unknown. This soap holder would be recessed in the wall when installed. Never installed or used. Old stock. Excellent condition with no damage or mentionable wear. Shows some minor manufacturing variations in the glaze, but none that detract from the piece. The plate that would be flush with the tile of the shower wall measures 5 X 6 3/4 inches.
