Old estate found cast bronze iron maiden figure miniature statue with front that opens to reveal sharp spikes inside. Unmarked and unsigned, maker and origin is unknown. Very good condition with no breaks or damage. Shows age and some bending of the spikes and a dark old patina along with some verdigris as pictured. The figure measures 4 1/4 inches tall. It has a tab with two holes at the back of the base, likely where it was originally mounted to some sort of base. The hinges on the side have a bit of play. The piece is about the size inside of a finger....not sure if that was what it was intended for, and it wouldn't be recommended to try it for that purpose.
