Antique unsigned tin wall mount kitchen match holder with hinged lid and original paint. The match holder has a patent date in 1878 stamped on the back plate. The bottom has raised striker stamped into the tin. Stenciled "Matches" across the front. Neat old match box with original paint that shows age and wear as pictured. The soldering on the one side is loose as pictured. Surface wear as pictured. Measures about 4 1/2 inches long.
