Neat and scarce antique Gem glass oil jar with original tin spout. Embossed "GEM" across the side of the jar. Threaded cap with removable spout. Bottom of jar is embossed with maker's name, "Paine Diehl & Co." from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as well as a patent date in 1880. Jar was found with some oil residue inside, which we did not remove, as you can clearly see from the photos. Pretty nice condition with no chips or damage to the glass. The cap and spout show some spotty light surface rust as pictured. Jar is about 2 1/4 inches tall and almost 4 1/2 inches tall including the spout. Refer to the photos for a better idea of the style and condition, you will receive the exact oil bottle that is pictured.
