Antique brass weight for use with a dead weight pressure gauge tester for testing steam engine gauges. Patent date in 1884. Embossed with maker's name and weight on top. 2 pound weight. Crosby S.G. & V. Co. Boston. Weight measures about 4 1/2 inches wide. Very good condition with a dark old patina to the brass and no damage.
