Product Overview
Estate found Powell Boson one pint brass engine oiler. Admittedly, we know very little about this items and similar items in general. It's some type of engine oiler from the early 1900's. Stamped with company logo on the side of the tank as well as "1 Pt." Simply by viewing other examples online we can see that it is missing the wood part of the top knob and one glass tube on the side. It was pictured as found. Made of heavy brass. Shows a dark mottled patina and some verdigris in spots. The one wood handle that is one the piece has some wear to the wood as pictured. Good for a restoration project or would make a cool addition to a steampunk project. Refer to the photos for a better idea of the condition, size and style, you will receive the exact antique oiler that is pictured.
