Vintage Black Dymond patent applied for coal miner's helmet by CBM that was found in an estate with the Auto-Lite brand brass carbide helmet lamp that it's picture with. The helmet is in very good condition with no major damage. It shows some surface wear and age from use, including some scratches to the top, likely from bumping of mine ceiling. The interior netting is intact, but appears to be brittle. The carbide lamp is in nice looking condition with some verdigris and a dark patina to the brass. The lamp is untested, and may need some refurb to be functional. The helmet measures about 10 1/2 inches long.
