This is an original empty vintage Saráka 24-ounce lithographed apothecary / medicine tin (dated 1937), manufactured by the Schering Corporation of Bloomfield, New Jersey.
Finished in a vivid, vibrant orange and cream lithograph design, the front and back panels feature bold typography advertising "The Laxative That Fills The Gap In Your Daily Diet" and "For Constipation", complete with the official Good Housekeeping Bureau tested & approved star emblem and the date line "New Package Adopted 1937". The side panels advertise "Bulk plus Motility" alongside complete dosage directions and active ingredients (Bassorin plus Frangula). It retains its original fitted orange slip lid.
Condition is very good vintage with bright, glossy graphics, solid structural integrity, clean readable text, and minor honest shelf wear, light edge scuffs, and a small spot of paper remnant on the side.
