Product Overview
This is a vintage cobalt blue glass Bell System paperweight / souvenir bell (c. mid-20th century). Made in the distinct form of a telephone line insulator, this solid glass piece features white acid-etched lettering around the exterior body reading "BELL SYSTEM / NEW YORK TELEPHONE COMPANY" on one side and "LOCAL AND LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE" on the reverse.
The top features a molded glass hanging loop finial, and the base rim measures approximately 3 1/4 inches in diameter. Condition is very good vintage with crisp, clear white lettering with only some light rub wear, deep cobalt color, and no chips, cracks, or repairs.
