This is a vintage hinged-lid lithograph tin manufactured by Thorne's Confectionery of Leeds, England. The lid features a central oval portrait of a woman holding a child set against a cream and deep magenta background with ornate gold scrolled borders and star patterns. Opening the tin reveals the inner lid stamp reading "High Class Thorne's Confectionery, Leeds, England" and "Container Made in England." The exterior shows light surface wear, minor edge scuffs, and expected oxidation on the unpainted interior and bottom metal, maintaining bold color and sharp graphic appeal.
