This is an original antique Victor Talking Machine Co. phonograph needle tin (c. 1910s-1920s). The pocket-sized pocket tin is lithographed in bright orange-red with gold trim and features the iconic "His Master's Voice" trademark logo depicting Nipper the dog listening to a Victor horn phonograph gramophone.
The lid is clearly marked "VICTOR NEEDLES 300" alongside patent and trademark details. The back of the tin is lithographed with operational instructions reading "300 NEEDLES / FOR BEST RESULTS USE NEEDLES BUT ONCE / VICTOR TALKING MACHINE CO. CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY, U.S.A." The tin measures approximately 1 3/4 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. Condition is very good vintage with charming character; the lid graphics show light paint chipping and age patina, while the raw metal interior and back exhibit authentic age-appropriate surface oxidation. The hinge remains fully functional.
