Product Overview
This vintage mid-century ceramic tiger planter adds a bold pop of retro style to any space. Likely produced by a classic American art pottery maker like Morton Pottery or Royal Copley, though it is unsigned and maker is unknown. It features a fierce, crouching tiger with its mouth wide open in a roar. The piece is finished in a bright yellow high-gloss glaze accented by hand-painted black stripes, red eyes, and a vibrant red mouth. The back section opens into a hollow well, perfectly sized for housing a small succulent, ivy, or houseplant. It shows light all-over crazing consistent with age, but remains completely intact with no chips or cracks.
