Vintage mid-century ceramic black and white tuxedo cat figural teapot made in Germany by Erphila (Eberling & Reuss, Philadelphia). Features a seated cat wearing a soft pink bow tie with green eyes, a raised front paw forming the pouring spout, and an arched tail serving as the handle. Removable head serves as the fitted lid. Bottom base is clearly stamped with the Erphila Germany backstamp and impressed with mold numbers B 0049. Excellent vintage condition with a rich, high-gloss glaze and no chips, cracks, or repairs. A charming and collectible piece of vintage German figural novelty pottery!
