This is a vintage handmade sequin and bead bird/peacock brooch pin (c. mid-20th century). The artisan piece features an array of vibrant, multi-colored metallic sequins-including hot pink, yellow, green, purple, gold, and silver-individually secured with matching glass seed beads to create a stylized, curving exotic bird or peacock silhouette.
The reverse side is finished with a hand-cut black felt backing texturally supporting a silvertone base-metal bar pin closure with a rolling safety clasp.
