Antique brass Auto-Lite brand coal miner's helmet mount carbide light made by the Universal Lamp Company. Shiny surface. Embossed bottom of can. This old coal mining lantern was found as-pictured in a rural Pennsylvania estate. It is an old likely mine used tool. The lamp shows lots of age, surface wear and a dark old patina to the brass. Lamp is being sold as-is and as-pictured. Untested. The lamp likely would require some restoration to bring it back to working condition. Nice old mining collectible to use for decoration or to restore.
