Product Overview

Antique E.O. Hausburg "The Standard" watchman's portable patrol clock / time detector, patented November 8, 1904. Housed in a heavy cylindrical aluminum case featuring fine knurled coin-edge rims, a side station key receiver slot, and a center recessed analog watch dial with Roman numerals under glass with a brass bezel. The hinged front cover opens to reveal the internal brass recording movement plate and center chart arbor, alongside the factory stamped patent dates, serial number 32121, and the original riveted oval "Underwriters' Laboratories Time Detector" inspection badge (No. 1208). Complete with an original patterned station key stamped "S CO / Patd Feb. 11th 1908". Very good antique condition with light surface scuffs and honest industrial wear, clear dial crystal, intact hinge, and functional latch.

Measures about 5 inches wide. The clock portion works, though there is no winding key included. We wound to test and the clock worked. Refer to pics for better idea of style, condition and completeness or lack thereof.
