Antique doll-sized or salesman sample steamer trunk, built in flat-top chest form with textured forest-green cloth/paper covering and distinctive magenta foil-and-celluloid faux marble/agate banding. Fitted with ornate embossed brass-plated corner guards, side hinges, dual front flip latches, a locking center drawbolt hasp, and a folding lid-stay bracket. The hinged lid opens to reveal the original blue-mottled paper lining and removable upper lift-out wooden tray. Good antique condition with solid structure, smooth hinges, working latches, and authentic aged character; original side leather lift handles have degraded away, leaving only their mounting posts, alongside expected scattered light edge wear and paper spotting.
