Antique Rowland & Marsellus (R&M) Staffordshire flow blue / blue and white historical transferware souvenir plate titled "Courtship of Miles Standish." Features a detailed central colonial interior scene depicting John Alden and Priscilla Mullins at the spinning wheel, framed by an ornate deep cobalt floral and fruit border with a scalloped rim. Reverse bears the blue underglaze scroll mark reading "COURTSHIP OF MILES STANDISH. STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND" alongside the diamond R&M monogram mark. Condition is fair to good vintage: shows all-over clean age crazing and a noticeable tight hairline crack extending inward from the rim across the border, visible on both front and back. The transfer remains vibrant with rich cobalt contrast, making it a classic display piece of early 20th-century Anglo-American historical china.
