Product Overview
Original antique early 20th-century EAPG milk glass "Log Cabin" mustard condiment jar and still coin bank made by Westmoreland Specialty Co. (Grapeville, PA, c. 1890s-1910s). Molded in opaque white milk glass with authentic cold-painted yellow-ochre/gold wash highlights detailing the log siding, windows, and cedar shingle roof. Features its original removable chimney lid that functions as a coin slot. Retains both original paper labels on the underside: the circular red "W.S.C. Prepared Mustard" product label and the rectangular instruction label explaining how to seal the lid with wax to convert it into a money bank (chimney knockout has been removed, and it looks like it was done in a violent manner that caused some chipping as pictured around the chimney rim). In very good antique condition with no cracks or chips to the rims, crisp mold detail, and typical honest age wear to the cold paint. Measures about 3 3/4 inches long.
