This is a vintage mid-century era glam lady head vase (c. 1950s-1960s). Made in Japan, this collectible ceramic planter features a glamorous lady with downcast eyes, long metallic gold eyelashes, gold-painted lips, and flower-shaped gold earrings.
She wears a wide-brimmed pink picture hat decorated with large applied 3D roses, green leaves, gold-trimmed flowers, and a large pink bow on the back. The base of the vase bears an stamped horseshoe maker's mark alongside "JAPAN". The head vase stands approximately 5 inches tall. Condition is excellent vintage; the ceramic body is free of chips or cracks with rich gold gilding, displaying expected light age crazing throughout.
