This is a vintage aluminum and metal funeral home temporary grave marker or cemetery plot marker issued by Hunter Funeral Home. The plaque features raised bronze-tone metallic lettering reading "J. WILSE HOWARD", dates "1886 - 1970", a memorial laurel wreath emblem, and "HUNTER FUNERAL HOME" along the bottom. Mounted on a long metal ground stake, the piece shows authentic vintage patina with surface rusting on the lower stake and light weathering on the plaque face.
