This rare original real photo postcard (RPPC) depicts a group of railroad track maintenance workers-a section crew-standing along a stretch of single-track line. Location of photo is unknown, card was found in Pennsylvania.
Dating to the early 1900s-1910s era, the image shows telegraph/utility poles with overhead wires running parallel to the line, alongside a small handcar or maintenance cart resting off the side of the tracks. The reverse features an unposted divided back with a distinctive C.K.Co. stamp box logo inside a crescent moon/horseshoe design. The card is in unmailed, clean vintage condition with light corner rounding and attractive contrast.
