Original vintage 1930s-1940s J. Chein & Co. lithographed tin miniature "Cash Box Bank" still bank / coin savings bank (Made in USA). Finished in classic red enamel with black pinstriping and faux keyhole graphics, stamped metal drop handle, and top coin slot bezel. The base features four embossed ball feet, an original tin trapdoor, and includes its original matching flat steel key. Condition is good vintage: structurally sound with a working key and bottom door, bright red color with authentic allover fine paint craquelure/spiderwebbing, light surface patina/oxidation on the bare metal parts, and remnants of a vintage paper label on the back side. Measures 3 1/2 inches long.
