Vintage 1950s Ronson "Lotus" Art Deco / Mid-Century Modern silver-plated tabletop lighter, manufactured in Newark, New Jersey, U.S.A. Cast in an aerodynamic, sculptural oval vessel form featuring deeply ribbed fluting accents and a pedestal foot base. Fitted with Ronson's signature one-motion automatic lever mechanism on top, and clearly stamped on the underside base with the "LOTUS" model name, registered trademark, and U.S. Patent 2,481,195, alongside the flint screw and knurled "FILL HERE" fuel port. Good vintage condition with solid mechanics, a clean sniffer assembly, and rich unpolished silver patina with authentic scattered age tarnish and honest light surface handling wear.
