This is a vintage Spode faceted clear crystal paperweight / art glass sculpture, acid-etched and intaglio-engraved with Neptune / Poseidon holding his trident above ocean waves.
Cut in a multi-faceted geometric prism form, the heavy, high-clarity crystal refracts light throughout the angled beveled facets, mirroring the frosted mythological sea god motif across different angles. The bottom edge is etched with the official "Spode" script maker's hallmark. Measures approximately 2 3/4 inches tall.
Condition is excellent vintage with high clarity, sharp crisp facet edges, and no chips, cracks, fleabites, or scratches.
