Original vintage 1940s Abingdon Pottery art pottery ceramic pineapple cookie jar / canister (shape No. 564, Made in USA). Features a sculpted diamond-textured fruit base finished in glossy warm yellow and caramel-brown airbrushed glazes, topped with a fitted lid featuring an upright turquoise-blue crown finial handle. The underside base is clearly stamped with the rectangular ink mark "ABINGDON / U. S. A." alongside an incised mold shape number. In good vintage condition with rich, vibrant gloss glaze and a clean interior; displays one small glaze flake/chip on the tip of the turquoise crown finial and minor age crazing. Measures just over 10 inches tall.
