Product Overview

Authentic antique 1920s Art Deco pocket cigarette tin produced in Germany by Reemtsma Cigarettenfabriken for their exotic Orientalist blend, "Senoussi No. 16." The exterior lid features a striking, vivid yellow-and-orange lithograph portraying a gathering of Senussi Bedouin desert tribesmen in flowing robes and djellabas holding rifles, set against rolling dunes and framed by an ornate black-and-gold geometric scroll border with the classic Reemtsma galley logo.

The reverse base displays an intricate Persian-revival lithographed pattern featuring walking lions, exotic birds, palmettes, and arabesques. Inside, the inner lid retains brilliant orange-and-gold factory branding with crisp typography and decorative side panels. A highly desirable and visually captivating piece of Weimar-era European tobacciana, graphic design, and early advertising history. In very good vintage condition with bold color retention, light honest edge wear, clean interior surfaces, and an intact, securely functioning rear hinge.
