Product Overview
Add a fascinating piece of vintage counter-culture and patent medicine-era advertising to your collection with this rare "Adams' Passion Cigarettes" hinged lithographed tin. Featuring bold Art Deco styling with a navy blue border, ornate corner flourishes, and classic typography on a pale yellow field, the lid makes the bold claim: "A Peppy exhilarating Cigarette that gives you a real uplift / No drugs / Non habit-forming." Produced for the Adams brand (with no further specific manufacturer's stamp on the plain yellow reverse or clean interior), this unusual medical/lifestyle novelty tin boasts exceptional visual appeal. In very good to excellent vintage condition with straight edges, tight functioning hinges, and a secure snap closure, showing only minimal edge rubbing, light scattered paint nicks, and faint interior glue residue from original packaging paper.
