Original late 19th-century Victorian large double trade card advertising "Rising Sun Stove Polish" manufactured by Morse Bros. (Canton, Mass.). Features dual-panel color chromolithograph caricatures depicting parlor stove scenes: the upper panel shows a smoke-filled room with family reacting to foul paste polish ("See here Pompey..."), while the lower scene displays a mirror-like shine reflecting faces and a surprised cat ("I say Snow Flake, dat stove was blacked with Rising Sun..."). The reverse presents detailed packaging claims and a full 19-line acrostic poem configured in an inverted orientation relative to the top panel. Very good unmounted antique condition with rich color, clean edges, and light authentic age toning on the reverse. An iconic piece of early American product advertising and Black Americana ephemera.
