Pair of original antique Victorian / Edwardian hand-painted porcelain candlestick holders (c. 1890s-1910s, German / Austrian origin, bearing an illegible green underglaze factory mark inside the base). Crafted in fine white porcelain with tall, elegant flared trumpet stems and broad scalloped candle cups accented by fine gilded rims and pastel yellow ombré shading at the tops and flared bases. Beautifully decorated with hand-painted yellow and blush tea roses on climbing thorny brier stems with soft teal, sage green, and peach blush background washes. Measuring approximately 8 inches tall. In excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, exceptionally clean interiors, and minimal age wear to the gold trim.
