Antique Victorian German porcelain shaving scuttle / lather mug manufactured by Brandenburg. Features a molded swirl body with a ruffled rim trimmed in gold gilt, an ornate reticulated scroll handle, and delicate transfer floral bouquets of pink roses and white accent flowers over soft peach and pastel blue blush tones. The top soap deck includes three drainage holes to separate lather water into the reservoir below. Marked on the underside with the blue underglaze "Brandenburg" anchor maker's mark. In excellent antique condition with vibrant color, bright gold trim, and no chips, cracks, or crazing.
