Antique Victorian German porcelain covered sugar bowl (or small tureen/candy jar) featuring lush hand-painted pink cabbage roses over a soft mint and celadon green ground. Designed with elegant mold work, including a piecrust scalloped rim, embossed ribbed body, double side scroll handles, and a conforming fluted lid with a central loop finial. Richly embellished with hand-applied gold gilt highlights along the rims, handles, and lid edge. Very good antique condition with strong colors and no chips, cracks, or repairs, showing only minor expected shelf wear to the unglazed foot ring and light authentic gilt thinning.
