Original antique German porcelain lidded biscuit barrel / cracker jar manufactured by Unger & Schilde (Roschütz, Thuringia, Germany) for importer Jonroth / John H. Roth & Co., produced between 1909 and 1916. Features an embossed scalloped rim with gilt trim, a molded scroll-finial lid handle, and a soft sage-to-forest green shaded ombré finish. Decorated with a central transfer portrait of an Edwardian Gibson-era beauty adorned in multi-strand pearls, blue hair bow, and fur wrap, surrounded by pink cabbage roses and gold filigree flourishes. Base bears the green underglaze "Three Crown China Germany" mark. In very good antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, a clean interior, and minimal expected wear to the gold rim. Measures 7 inches tall.
