Antique late 19th-century Victorian Aesthetic Movement covered vegetable tureen / serving dish in brown transferware. Features delicate sepia botanical transfers of blooming daisies, buds, and trailing wild foliage across the domed lid and bowl. Designed with an elegant lobed / paneled body, embossed rope-twist rim detailing, and ornate sculpted scroll side handles with a matching lid finial. Unmarked semi-porcelain / ironstone base. Excellent antique condition with a bright, clean interior, crisp transfer details, and only minor natural age wear to the unglazed foot rim, free of chips, cracks, or repairs. A lovely, functional accent for Victorian dining and brown transferware collections.
