This is a vintage 1950s Japanese Mica/Glitter Reclining Pixie Elf Ornament/Figurine.
Made of molded ceramic or composition material, this impish Christmas elf features a hand-painted face with painted brown hair, pointed ears, and a mischievous smile. The elf's suit and pointed hat are fully coated in heavy silver mica dust glitter. It is molded in a reclining "cheesecake" pose and includes a tiny wire loop at the top of the hat for hanging as a Christmas tree ornament. The underside is stamped "JAPAN" in dark ink. It is in very good vintage condition with bright facial paint and solid glitter coverage. It has no chips or damage. Measures 3 inches long.
