This is a vintage 1940s-1950s hard plastic/celluloid bobblehead elephant nodder figure, made in Occupied Japan. Hand-painted in soft grey tones with light pink ear/mouth highlights, white tusks, and a light blue saddle blanket trimmed in gold, the figure features an articulated nodder head attached via string/elastic. Measuring approximately 5.5 inches in length, it remains intact with no breaks or damage, shows some light expected surface aging, gentle paint wear, and operational head movement.
