Antique 1908 divided back color lithograph comic postcard (#515). Features early 20th-century Black Americana caricature artwork titled "What a Terrible Predicament.", depicting a man carrying two large watermelons along a country dirt road at night, spotting a roosting chicken on a wooden fence. The reverse includes period handwritten ink correspondence, a green 1¢ Benjamin Franklin postage stamp, and a clear 1908 Ida Grove, Iowa postmark to Binford, North Dakota. In very good antique condition with sharp corners, clean edges, and bright colors.
