Original 1909 antique divided back Valentine greeting postcard featuring a color lithograph of a caricatured young African American girl wearing a straw hat behind a large red heart. The heart is printed with a period dialect poem beginning "My Heart's dat full ob Laughin'..." and upper right header "To My Valentine." Published by L. & E. (Serie 2217) and printed in Germany. Postally used and hand-inscribed with a pencil message; stamped with a circular February 1909 postmark from Minonk, Illinois, addressed to Deer Creek, Illinois (no stamp affixed). Shows light corner rounding, faint pencil rubs, and gentle edge toning consistent with age. A preserved historical artifact of early 20th-century holiday ephemera and Black Americana.
